This week I have had the opportunity to complete a Literature Review to build on my last Literature Review for my Innovation Plan. The goal for my Innovation Plan is to find ways of giving more and better opportunities to the students to close their gaps in the learning, especially the Hispanics, so they become lifelong independent learners. Completing this new Literature Review has giving me a broader perspective of the needs around the world for blended learning models, and knowledge of some barriers that could be present when implementing them. It has been very clear to me that everything needs to start with a vision and a plan. The plan should include the analysis of professional development needed, how to include all of the stakeholders, the best uses for the allotted funding, and how to use data to adapt the instruction. It has been an interesting journey around the world and an eye opener of how the resources assigned for education are very different according to the place in the world where you are.
