How do You Give Choice and Ownership?

Every time I read COVA (Dwayne, Thibodeaux, Cummings, 2018), I have a mixed feelings. I get excited with what is coming but I struggle to see how to implement it with my own kids. I would love to put into effect some kind of plan where my kids are giving COVA, but I still don’t see how.

I can’t wait to find my own real-world problem to solve where I will receive a guided discovery. I can see myself stressed about it but engaged and motivated with the learning process.

I never expected that the DLL was going to be like this. I thought it was going to be more traditional, but I am glad it’s structured like this because it might open more doors in the future due to having to develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem.
